6 weeks and 3 days to go

Until we get to meet the newest Rogers. Well, at least somewhere within that time frame. As time goes by we are getting more and more anxious to know what this little person is going to be like. I just can't wait to meet him/her. It's not that I'm miserable or even all that uncomfortable. I just want to know what this kid is going to look like. Pregnancy is probably the funniest thing that has ever happened to me. I mean, seriously, at no other point in my life has it been okay to get this fat. I love the excuse for elastic waistbands. I also never knew what people were talking about when they said their brain didn't function while they were pregnant. Wow. Somedays it's all I can do to find my way to work.

In other news, Cameron is loving summer camp. He is ready to go as soon as he wakes up in the morning. However, by the end of the day he is exhausted. Oh, he still talks quite a bit but he is just a lot less animated than usual. This week was highlighted by a trip to the Indiana State Museum as well as a trip to see Space Chimps the movie. Today is pool day so he was very excited for that. This whole experience is so good for him both physically, socially, and emotionally.

Stuart had his 3 month checkup/chest x-ray with his orthopaedic oncologist this morning. He passed with flying colors. So, we will be breathing easy again until September at his next appointment.

This weekend, my awesome friend Laura is throwing me a baby shower out at her house. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone that's going to be there including a lot of our old college crowd. I can officially say old now because most of them have reached the 30 year threshold (I'm still the youngest, he he he). That's all for now. I'll be sure and post some pics of this weekend's activities next week.
