So much news and so little space. At the risk of boring everyone, I'll try to update you on all of the goings on at the Rogers household without all of the details that might not be so exciting.
We'll start off with some exciting news. Yesterday, Cameron decided he was finally ready to start riding his bike. So, after we walked the dog (a near daily occurence now that the weather allows), Cameron got his helmet and bike and took off. We still have some work to do on corners, but we've got a lot to build on and it won't be long before he'll be able to ride his bike to the babysitters in the morning with Megan following him over there.
As for my radiation, everything is going well. The techs and nurses are great. I couldn't ask for a nicer group of people than those at St. Francis Cancer Center. I'm sure they see so many things every day that just rip their hearts out and they continue to be positive and friendly. They are awesome. 22 treatments down and only 8 to go.
Megan has officially transitioned her wardrobe to more "pregnancy-friendly" apparel. She finally feels like she is pregnant and not just fat. She looks cute in her maternity outfits. Only 4 months to go. My how time flies when you have cancer. (Isn't that how the saying goes?)
Finally, this past Sunday was like Christmas at the Rogers household. With Selection Sunday comes the beginning of many discussions in our house about Cinderellas, upsets, mid-majors and wagers. I am reminded every March why I married my wife. She's probably the only woman I know who loves college basketball as much as I do. So, since I know you're all wondering, here are our official Final Four choices: Megan - Pitt, Louisville, Memphis and UNC with UNC beating Louisville in the final. Stuart - Pitt, Louisville, UConn and Syracuse with Louisville beating Pitt in the final. Friendly household wager TBD.
