That's me. The blog slacker. I haven't been on in a while due to pure laziness. So, here's an update on the Roger's family.
Stuart is almost done with radiation. Only 2 more treatments to go!!! We are so excited. He has done really well with the exception of being very tired. Just in the past week, he has noticed how fatigued his body really is. Tomorrow night we are gathering some of our closest friends and visiting Fogo De Chao downtown. It's a Brazilian steakhouse that is meant to be incredible. We are very excited to not only celebrate the end of Stuart's treatments but to also celebrate how blessed we are to have such amazing friends.
Cameron is getting a little bit better at riding his bike. This week he worked on getting started on his own with no help from Dad. He's also getting better at turns and curves which he is excited about. His soccer season got started last week and Stuart is coaching again. I may help a little bit but it's kind of nice to have a hands off approach this season.
As for me and the little one inside me, everything is going smoothly. I am almost at 24 weeks. The nausea is mostly gone and I've been feeling pretty good lately. Baby is moving more and more and lately has moved from fluttering to thumping. Last night Stuart felt the baby move for the first time. It was really neat. I am so thankful that I get to experience all that goes along with pregnancy (except for the nausea of course). I am mostly out of all of my normal clothes. I still have one or two pairs of normal pants that I can still button but everything else involves elastic. I love an excuse to wear elastic pants:0)
In the middle of next week, we are heading down to Gatlinburg with my parents for a couple of days. Cameron is on spring break and is super excited to get to hang out with Grandma Gill and Grandpa Steve. We are planning on going to see the Dixie Stampede, the Ripley's Aquarium and do some general sightseeing around Gatlinburg. Of course there had better be plenty of time for naps too!!!
That's all I've got for now. We'll keep you posted.
Oh, and for those of you wondering how the Rogers' family March Madness wager is going...I am losing miserably. Due to about 3 or 4 last second shots my bracket went straight from being decent to sitting in the pooper. So, looks like I'll be paying up to Stuart Rogers. Grr...
